I work where people, technology and better systems meet.
I’m Alex, a senior technical recruiter and talent advisor who likes getting close enough to the work to understand what makes it difficult, then finding a clearer way through it.
Senior Technical Recruiter · Talent Advisor · Systems Builder
A decade in technical hiring taught me to ask better questions. Building systems taught me to question the process, too.
How I work
The work is human.
Good recruiting starts with understanding the work and telling the truth about it. Everything else gets better from there.
-
Understand before searching
A job description is only the starting point. I want to know what the team is trying to solve, where the tradeoffs are, and what someone will actually walk into.
-
Make the conversation useful
Candidates deserve context, honest expectations, and room to decide whether an opportunity truly fits. Hiring teams deserve the same level of candor.
-
Keep people aligned
Strong process is mostly clear communication: close the loop, surface uncertainty early, and make sure everyone is solving the same problem.
The systems side
More room for the work that requires a person.
I started using generative AI in my recruiting work in 2023. Over time, experiments became repeatable workflows and, in 2026, production recruiting software: internal web apps, agentic companions, and automations.
That shift gave me something I’d wanted for a long time: hands-on time with the technologies I recruit for without leaving the people side behind. The point isn’t to automate the relationship. It’s to make repetitive work more reliable so people have more time for judgment, collaboration, and real conversation.

01
A cleaner way to prepare submissions
A formatting system that gathers the right candidate context and turns it into consistent, client-ready documents. Versioned rules, privacy-conscious handling, uncertainty flags, and regression tests keep the output useful without pretending the inputs are perfect.

02
A second set of eyes, with boundaries
A candidate credibility system that combines deterministic rules with multiple AI providers. Outputs stay traceable, protected attributes stay out, and scoring remains advisory so the recruiter—not the model—makes the call.

03
Screening prep that starts with the person
An event-driven screening companion that reconciles application claims with the résumé, surfaces what a recruiter should verify, and builds interview questions around the actual profile. Human review stays in the loop from start to finish.

Beyond the work
Rooted here. Curious everywhere.
Pennsylvania has always been home. I like having wooded trails, rivers, and lakes nearby while the coast and the rest of the East Coast still feel within reach.
If I can be outside—hiking, kayaking, fishing, or at the beach—I’m usually happy. I travel when I can and tend to point toward warmer weather.
Music is a constant. I grew up around artists, picked up the drums during COVID, DJ for fun, and will choose a live show over almost anything. I’m equally happy trying a new restaurant, catching a game, or spending time with family and friends.
Also: Dallas Cowboys fan. In Pennsylvania. I’ve heard the arguments.
